The Owner Builder School of Oregon has been providing custom design services for our students for thirteen years now. We are now able to offer these same services to everyone. We can design a home for you that will fit your lot and your lifestyle. Many people find that they like a part of one design, such as a master suite or family room but don’t like the rest of the house. We can take all those different parts and put them together in a design that harmonizes the interior floor plan with the exterior façade.

As a custom home builder and in conjuction with teaching our Homebuilding classes, we have available the latest costs for every part of your home, both materials and labor. 

In far too many cases, an owner will engage the services of a designer or architect to do a custom design and find, when they go to try to build their dream home, that they aren’t even close to being able to afford it. The designer frequently doesn’t care, or doesn’t have the knowledge to design to a budget. Whether the house gets built or not he gets paid for the design. When working with us you will be able to know how much your house will cost and how much any changes you make in the design will impact the budget. This is a unique advantage to the homeowner.
